Turmeric & ginger for joint pain 姜黄·生姜缓解关节痛

Bones, Joints & Back 筋骨·关节·腰背 early evidence
What the evidence says:
Standardised curcumin (turmeric) eases knee-OA pain in meta-analyses, in several trials near NSAID level; ginger has a smaller OA effect. Real, useful adjuncts to exercise — not cures, and absorption needs pepper + fat.

How to make it

Golden milk (turmeric + black pepper + fat) or standardised curcumin capsules; ginger tea; 杜仲 in bone soup for a weak low back. A warm compress also eases stiff joints.

Why it works

Always pair turmeric with black pepper + a little fat, or absorption is poor.

Classical source

姜黄 moves blood and relieves shoulder/arm pain; 杜仲 is the classic low-back/knee tonic.

Cautions: Turmeric/ginger/ginkgo can thin blood — caution with anticoagulants and before surgery. Cartilage is not "regrown" by herbs.
